Experience Pain Relief with Biopuncture:
Eva has had the fortune to train with Michael Young L. AC., Cary Gold P.T., Jacqualine Lockhart M.D., Dr. isali ben-jacob, DOM. She is an effective practitioner of Biopuncture for pain management. Since adding this service for her patients she is constantly amazed at the relief this work can provide.
Here is what another patient said about the relief Biopuncture provided:
"Dr. Eva" took care of my son Troy when he hurt his ankles. First, she is so professional and personable. In addition, her injection treatments made his ankle feel instantly better; he healed very quickly and even gained strength in his ankles."

What is Biopuncture?
Biopuncture is the injection of sterile homeopathic remedies into acupuncture points and/or trigger points. Biopuncture is within the scope of practice for Licensed Colorado Acupuncturists. Eva uses Guna and Heel injectables. GUNA Homeopathic Medicines are classified in the USA as drugs and registered with the FDA.
When will I feel relief?
Many patients feel relief off the table! After two or three sessions Eva will determine with the patient on how to best proceed.
What can I expect?
A typical session can be as short as 20 minutes and as long as an hour. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. You can expect to laugh a little and breath a lot or vice-verse.
Does it hurt?
"In my clinical experience, chronic pain can produce an intensified sensation the first several visits that decreases as the inflammation subsides." Eva notes that this response varies according to the patient.
"If you have stayed away from Acupuncture because of fear of needles, well, you can forget all that. Eva is so good at what she does, that you hardly feel anything at all with the Anti-Aging and Pain Relief Injections of GUNA."
- Josie R.
I am afraid of needles?
Eva has a very respectful and gentle style. She has successfully treated many patients who are afraid of needles.
How many treatments will I need?
A normal course of treatment is once a week for six weeks and then an as needed maintenance program. Eva considers every case on an individual basis and will determine a protocol for your best results.
How much does it cost?
An injection office visit is $50.00. Each vial used is $12.00. The amount of vials used varies per treatment according to need. The average used is three per treatment.
A Patients Story...
I have suffered from relatively severe Chronic Fatigues Syndrome (CFS) and Fibromyalgia since 1990. I have gone through periods when I could barely walk, could not be out of bed for more than 20 minutes at a time, could eat virtually nothing because my system could not digest food and could barely remember my own phone number, much less anything else.
Back in 1992 I had a particularly bad bout that put me in bed for about 8 months. With the help of an acupuncture doctor and homeopath, my CFS was put into remission. I still could not go out in the evening or deal with much stress and usually had to spend all of one day a week in bed though. Then in March 2006 after having had 17 infections and viruses in 5 months, and living through 6 years of unmitigated stress, I woke up to discover that I could not even walk to the bathroom. I was in bed for the better part of the next 15 months, incapable of doing anything but watching DVD’s. I had developed a duodenal ulcer, could eat nothing but a few grains, had Candida and sub-clinical infections in my liver, kidneys and pancreas, had an inflamed gallbladder and had developed numerous food allergies. I was exhausted all the time, but could not sleep. My memory was shot and I had a hard time reading even the simplest books. After 15 months of acupuncture, massage and homeopathics, I was able to function but still succumbed to my usual respiratory infection in September 2007 had a bad case of the Flu in February 2008 and several colds and sinus infections at various other times.
Then in the fall of 2008, I went to see Eva for a treatment and she told me about a new therapy. Eva had trained under an M.D. who had suffered from CFS and Fibromyalgia herself, that consisted of injecting homeopathic remedies at acupuncture points. I’m in constant pain and never know when just the ordinary pace of my life is going to put me in bed for a week or 2 – so I’m willing to try anything.
I won’t say that the initial treatment was comfortable – the injections were moderately painful. (The pain decreases the more treatments you have.) But the response of my body made it all worth it. In less than a minute, I could feel my cells doing a happy dance. The improvement was almost immediate. After the first treatment, I got off the table feeling so much better it was difficult to believe. I had 6 treatments in the fall and early winter of 2008. It’s now March of 2009 and I have not gotten ill this winter – something that is unheard of. (I have had the flu, pneumonia or bronchitis in January or February since I was 6.) This is despite the fact that I to travel to Boston twice in 5 weeks. The poor circulation in my extremities is alleviated. My overall pain level has decreased unless I don’t get enough sleep; my energy level is higher and more consistent and my mind is clearer. It’s not an exaggeration to say that I feel better than I have in almost 20 years and these treatments are starting to give me back my life.
