About Eva Stanley
It all begins with an idea.
Eva was born in Kentucky and at the age of seven, moved to Boulder circa 1976 with her family. Thirty-three years later, she still loves the open sky and beauty Colorado has to offer.
At the spry age of 21, Eva moved to Seattle, WA, where she began her career as a Chef for 15 years in that field. On one fateful day, Eva's mother sent her an article by mail (which she often did) about Bastyr; a private University devoted to the study of Natural Medicine; including programs in naturopathy, acupuncture, Traditional Asian medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, and more. The minute Eva read about acupuncture, "It was as though fireworks went off in my head. I have never looked back."
Eva went on to receive a Master's Degree from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. Five Branches prides itself on the highly esteemed staff from China and the U.S. and the experience the teaching staff brings to the classroom. Eva spent the next four years with her head in books, and to this day still has her head in the books. "My curiosity will continue to excel and expand my skills to meet the needs of my patients."
After receiving her Master's Degree, Eva moved back home to Boulder, where she began studying Body Talk, completing all nine modules. Although Eva no longer practices Body Talk, she still sees the experience as valuable in developing her intuitive sense.
In 2004, Eva was employed at The Wellness Center and worked with a fellow associate, Dr. Elliot Smith. It was through Dr. Smith that she became exposed to Electrodermal Screening, BioEnergetic Medicine (EDS). In 2005 with less than two months after her first experience with EDS, she acquired a machine and was up against a steep learning curve. The story doesn't end there.
In 2006, Dr. Smith opened the Alternative Chiropractic Center, and under the tutelage of Dr. Smith, Eva has become exceptionally skilled at the practice of BioEnergetic Medicine (EDS). " Becoming proficient on this machine offers a fantastic tool for the benefit of all my patients."
In 2007 Eva began to incorporate injection therapy into her practice. She has had the opportunity to train under Michael Young L. AC., Cary Gold P.T., Jacqueline Lockhart M.D., Dr. isali ben-jacob, DOM.
Fast forward to today, Eva as of January 2021, has branched off on her own to continue her life's work in helping people regain their health. Eva combines bio-energetic medicine (EDS), acupuncture, clinical nutrition, cold laser therapy, and pharmaceutical-grade nutraceutical herbal supplements into her patient's regimen.
Eva takes pride in her client's health and customizes a supplemental protocol according to the imbalances she finds through EDS. Never in all of the years, Eva has been using EDS has she ever prescribed the same protocol...what you need is what you get.
Eva encourages her patients and loves becoming a trusted member of their health care team. She is devoted to her practice and thoroughly enjoys showing up for work. Her bedside manner is kind and friendly, and often you will hear laughter coming from her treatment room. Eva believes healing is possible in many ways and looks forward to working with you.
